Designer I, Environmental Graphics - EYP (Atlanta, Georgia)
Responsible for the design of a wide variety of graphics, signage and wayfinding projects, branded environments, exhibit design and other custom applications. The designer may work independently, or under the direction of a senior designer, or may work as part of an interdisciplinary team of architects, interior designers and others who deliver projects in all sectors of the firm, for a range of clients, industries and building types.

Additionally, the designer is a key contributor to the successful project delivery of all phases of Environmental Graphic Design including concepts, design development, design intent and final implementation.
Essential Duties:
Maintain strong understanding of client needs and objectives including their business, vision, goals, brand guidelines and design standards
Confer with Environmental Graphic Design Studio leadership and staff to gain understanding of internal expectations regarding design process, quality standards, and high client service
Deliver appropriate and thoughtful solutions for clients in a diverse range of markets, fostering innovation where appropriate
Conduct research and site visits, review campus, site and/or facility drawings, renderings and other documents to understand existing conditions and determine effective wayfinding and signage solutions.
Prepare, plan, and design a variety of two and three-dimensional graphics, logos, maps and signs that identify, direct, inform, interpret and visually enhance the environment using design processes common to the environmental graphic design industry.
Review layouts and proofread materials to ensure accuracy, design effectiveness, compliance with zoning requirements and existing standards if applicable
Create informative, inspiring and convincing client presentations that communicate a holistic design strategy.
Present design work to clients and manage client feedback
Position Requirements
BA or BFA degree in Graphic Design, Industrial Design, Architecture, Interior Design or related field required
Strong design ability, including an understanding of proportion, color, aesthetics, type, as well as a strong skill in three-dimensional and spatial thinking.
Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, and Photoshop is required.
Familiarity with Revit, Sketchup, and PC Windows platform is preferred.
