Senior Experiential Designer - Factory 360 (Hybrid in NYC, NY)

Factory 360, a marketing and experiential design agency, is seeking a Senior Experiential Designer with a mind for creative strategy and an eye for environmental design. This role should feel comfortable concepting, pitching, and designing experiential activations for a wide range of clients. Ideally this role is located in NYC. We have a hybrid 2 days per week work space in Union Square available to collaborate with the team.

Key responsibilities:

  • Designing and leading creative ideation for brand experiences, content, and social activations across a wide range of clients.

  • Developing simple and elegant approaches to complex design problems that keep business goals, technical requirements, and project budget in mind.

  • Lead and mentor a team of junior and mid-level designers and interns to bring the creative vision to life.

  • Self-motivated, balancing multiple projects and timelines, with an ability to prioritize when needed.

  • Comfortable articulating and selling the design and creative to clients, and building relationships with clients

  • Strong skills in 3D design, environmental design, visual rendering, and graphic design for brand events

  • Collaborating cross-functionally account teams and outside partners

  • Must be available to travel nationally and internationally for projects as needed


Qualifications Include:

  • 4-5+ years experience, either in an experiential agency and/or in-house studio environment as an environmental designer/experiential designer, or in a field where you’ve developed comparable skill sets.

  • A love for brand storytelling, conceptual thinking, and developing creative narratives in the experiential space.

  • Highly collaborative and a team player, ability to manage and mentor junior designers and interns.

  • Excellent presentation, interpersonal, and communication skills, with the ability to convey concepts and designs to the client

  • Skills in both 2D and 3D design, developing everything from environmental graphics to 3D design of spaces.

  • Strong understanding of fabrication, with the ability to manage relationships with fabricators, print vendors, creative tech partners etc.

  • Demonstrated fluency with design tools including the Adobe Creative Suite, Sketchup, VRay or Podium, knowledge of motion graphics or video editing are a plus.

  • Must be willing and able to travel for work including venue site visits and on-site installations. Nationally and internationally.
