Visual Designer - Microsoft (Remote or Hybrid)

The Windows and Devices Fluent Expression team is looking for a Visual Designer passionate about creating beautiful brand and product experiences and visually representing the diversity and complexity of our users. As a Visual Designer on the W&D Fluent Expression team, you will be responsible for elevating the craft and quality across W&D product visuals—with opportunities to define and drive illustrations and animations, icons, typography, wallpaper and audience specific content. You’ll collaborate directly with product design, brand, and engineering teams to bring new customer experiences to life while ensuring a unified design language and brand expression in our products and services across software and hardware.

Qualifications
Portfolio demonstrating your expertise in designing delightful, well-crafted products and experiences. We are looking for portfolios that demonstrate a sophisticated approach to visual design and brand expression as well as deep systems thinking. The desired candidate is able to create beautiful designs, and is also a critical UX thinker. 2+ years' industry experience in product design, visual design, and/or systems designUnderstanding and proven execution of design fundamentals including typographic systems, iconography, color theory, layout and motion/behavior design Ability to take complex ideas and present in a concise, visually compelling flow Creative thinker and compelling visual storyteller Demonstrates curiosity and eagerness to continue learning Calm and confident in a fast-paced environment Collaboration, organization, and self-motivation skills Passion for product design and emerging technology
