Experience Designers collaborate with the team and execute based on direction from team leadership to produce deliverables, assist with research, and contribute to client presentation documents. The salary for this role in Colorado is provided as $80,000 - $90,000

Responsibilities

  • Responsibilities

    • You conceptualize and iterate high-fidelity designs and prototypes in partnership with a team of researchers, designers, project managers, and developers

    • You understand and value the practice of design iteration by always experimenting, evaluating, and learning

    • You apply user-centered and data-driven design strategies to projects that range from mobile applications to complex business systems

    • You understand user needs and motivations uncovered in research and can translate them into design solutions (including flows, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes)

    • You provide intuitive, meaningful, and elegant interpretations of complex concepts based on client information and business requirements

Qualifications

  • Required Experience

    • 3+ year’s experience in a similar role

    • You have a solid understanding of user interface design patterns, information architecture and user experience best practices

    • You have attention to detail and possess visual design skills (including layout, grid systems, typography, iconography, and color) for digital experiences

    • You’re fascinated by people, their motivations, and desires relating to the design problem

    • You love helping identify user needs and establish designs that help them reach their goals.

    • You can work well with a team of diverse colleagues and client stakeholders

    • You can manage your time effectively to meet deadlines

    • You are highly skilled in Adobe Illustrator, Sketch, Invision and/or other associated design and prototyping tools

    • You hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in human-centered design, interaction design, information architecture, data science, human-computer interaction, visual design or a related program

     

    Desired Experience

    • Motion graphics design/production, animation, video skills

    • Working knowledge of the realities of executing designs in HTML, CSS and Javascript

    • The ability to code your own projects

As required by the Colorado Equal Pay Transparency Act, Ogilvy provides a reasonable range of minimum compensation for roles that may be hired in Colorado. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. For the state of Colorado only, the range of starting pay for this role is $80,000 – $90,000 annually and may be more or less depending upon skills, experience, education and geographical locations.
