Storyteller Designer - Mach49 (Remote, East Coast)

What You’ll Deliver
Collaborate with our internal teams and client teams to develop compelling presentation story lines that tell our clients’ start-up journeys, communicating boldly and clearly
Manage the presentation design process from start to finish, including managing feedback, deadlines, and conducting storytelling workshops to help craft the client’s story and message
Establish and develop the visual language for each venture presentation that you work on, including templates, fonts, colors, etc. that you will use to design the presentation.
Create a library of core assets with modular, reusable presentation design tools that helps to easily and consistently amplify our stories
Help to develop and evolve Mach49’s visual language through presentation design; ensure the consistency of the brand and highest quality of design across all Mach49-branded presentations
What We Require
2-5+ years of relevant work experience, creating presentations
Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related field, or equivalent work experience
Proficiency in Keynote, as well as PowerPoint and Google Slides
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite software (especially Photoshop and Illustrator)

Exceptional storyteller with outstanding presentation design skills
Strong graphic design fundamentals (i.e. typography, color theory, hierarchy, contrast, and grid / alignments)
Have best-in-class visual design abilities with proven experience in various forms of storytelling
Have strong attention to detail – you sweat the details, yet see the forest for the trees
Comfortable with ambiguity, and able to work autonomously and as part of a team
Politically savvy when working with clients, skilled at knowing when to lead versus when to collaborate
Willing to do what it takes to make Mach49 and client teams successful – there is no job too big or too small
Resilient and able to take design feedback well
Able to work quickly and efficiently in a very fast-paced, multi-task, collaborative environment
Willing to be flexible and work when the work is needed, sometimes at odd hours (there are lots of peaks and valleys), knowing that we value work-life balance and will make sure you get rest.
Business-savvy and able to understand and keep up with in-depth business conversations and solutions. Previous start-up experience a plus. Experience working within Global 1000 firms is a plus.
