Design Associate Manager - PepsiCo (Los Angeles, CA)

Accountabilities

  • Owning the creative process from brief to execution with emphasis on concept visualization

  • Leading cross functional creative brainstorms leveraging design thinking to unlock innovative approaches to brand activations

  • Partnering with individual brand teams to identify and codify experiential brand language through own-able materials, finishes, colors, lighting, sounds, scents and more.

  • Clearly communicating ideas through visualization and effective presentation to cross functional internal and external stakeholders

  • Sourcing and engaging external agencies, fabricators, architects, and producers

  • Effectively managing timelines and deliverables across multiple projects



 
Qualifications

  • Strong portfolio which demonstrates breadth of experience and impeccable taste in design

  • 7+ Years relevant experience

  • BA required; related field (design, industrial design, architecture) preferred

  • Self-described “Jack/Jill of all trades,” with a curiosity and excitement to learn new things

  • Highly proficient in one or more 3D programs (SketchUp, Rhino, 3DS Max, C4D)

  • Proficient in one or more rendering programs (Enscape, Vray, Keyshot)

  • Proficient in Adobe CS

  • Knowledgeable in common production methods, materials, and technologies

  • Keen interest in latest trends across pop culture, fashion, art, design, music, and technology

  • Excellent communication, written, oral, and visual.

  • Self-starter

  • Collaborative and iterative

  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment while maintaining a high standard of output

  • Must be willing to travel up to 20% of the time

Extra Credit

  • Ability to hand sketch

  • Existing network of vendors, fabricators, agencies

  • Experience with any other areas of design a plus: Motion Graphics, Photography, Video, Web design etc.

  • Prior experience with CPG brand(s)

  • Ability to develop production mechanicals for print or fabrication
