Technical Consultant, AEC/Product - Lenovo (Remote)
We are looking to hire an Industrial Technical Consultant (ITC) to focus exclusively within the areas of Global Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) and Product Development. This Technical Consultant will be responsible for driving pre-sales engagement with key customers in the AEC and manufacturing industries. With a deep understanding of AEC and product development workflows and the required applications, the ITC will be the trusted advisor on solutions development and deployment for Lenovo workstations and integrated One Lenovo solutions. This role will be integral in helping drive new business through account acquisition in the AEC and manufacturing sectors.

Responsibilities Include
Support sales leadership with their acquisition and retention strategies for Lenovo workstations solutions in the AEC and manufacturing markets
Provide guidance on Lenovo solutions to solve key workstation application workflow challenges from data center to end user solutions
Act as customer facing technology expert to provide details of workstation workflow challenges to the Lenovo Customer Solutions engineering team
Coordinate partner solution ecosystem to fulfill customer requirements
Optimize the opportunity intake process for pre-sales activities for acquisition accounts
Utilize product positioning, industry marketing, technical demonstrations, sales enablement, and competitive analysis tools
Work in concert with Lenovo Industry Managers to nurture ISV/IHV relationships (eg. Autodesk, Dassault, Siemens, Ansys, etc.)
Create and manage opportunities for industry-specific solutions and proof of concepts with customers, prospects, ISV and other technology partners
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in related field
10+ years’ experience in AEC/Product Development technology workflows
Knowledge of AEC/Product Development ISV/IHV solutions specific to workstation workflows
Established relationships with key ISVs providing software tools to the AEC and product development industry including Autodesk, Bentley, Dassault Systèmes, NEMETSCHEK, Siemens, Ansys, PTC etc.
Experience working with AEC/Product Development customers
Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills – English required
Preferred Qualifications
MBA
Workstation and Server workflow solution experience is an asset
Strong virtual team/extensive cross-group coordination and collaboration
Exceptional strategic, customer focused, open & effective communication skills
Strong technical acumen and passion for learning new technologies
Self-starter who can manage ambiguity and chart a clear course in an environment of change
