Staff Design + Creative Program Manager - Robinhood (Multiple Locations)

This role is based in our Menlo Park or NYC office, dependent on applicant’s location.

Robinhood is looking for a Program Manager to join our growing Program Management that supports our Design + Creative teams with domain expertise and passion for program strategy, operations, and prioritization.

The ideal candidate is a problem solver who takes responsibility and ownership to make processes and programs run efficiently, and who has the ability to understand the team’s needs and dynamics as they evolve. This role requires project management experience, as well as a general sense of the product development process. Strong organization skills, communication skills, and the ability to manage complex logistics are mandatory.

What you’ll do day-to-day:

  • Support org operations horizontally across Product Design, Content Design, ProdX and Brand Creative

  • Establish and own Design and Creative planning processes, budgeting (with finance), reporting, and communications cadences

  • Own the development and upkeep of design and creative tracking solutions for launches. Ensure systems connect strategically to existing trackers and communication centers for reporting with leadership

  • Create and upkeep Design and Creative Information and archiving centers (Org wiki, trackers, coda hubs). Ensure documentation is kept up to date, files are properly archived and reflect appropriate status and content.

  • Work with finance to actualize costs at the end of each month, license any assets, stock photos, animations, music, etc.

  • Streamline executive approval workflow for Design and Creative. Ensure collaborators follow appropriate process and projects are C&S approved before shipping

  • Manage legal, compliance and procurement processes for all design and creative vendors, tools and softwares as well as licensing and employee access.

  • Air traffic control for all design and creative needs- single source for prioritization and what's going out when, and partner with DCR leadership to resource new initiatives.

  • Provide the team with the resources, information, and processes required to support new initiatives (training, playbooks, documentation, resolution paths, FAQs, etc)

  • Develop workflows, documentation frameworks, asset management systems, and resource management for prodx+brand creative)

  • Establish Onboarding toolkits and templates for Design and Creative. Ensure documentation and resources are kept up to date

About you:

  • 5-7 years of experience in Design or Creative program management or project management in a product development or agency environment

  • Expertise in Design and Creative development processes

  • Excellent communication, project, time-management skills with an ability to learn quickly and accommodate rapid change

  • Able to organize information quickly and at a high level in order to address potential roadblocks and define the best way forward, keeping in mind the quality of the work and giving it room to develop

  • Strong understanding of digital and video asset creation and approval cycles

  • Able to work independently and have a strong sense of ownership

The expected salary range for this role is based on the location where the work will be performed and is aligned to one of 3 compensation zones. This role is also eligible to participate in a Robinhood bonus plan and Robinhood’s equity plan.

US Zone 1: $149000 - $175000
US Zone 2: $131000 - $154000
US Zone 3: $116000 - $137000

Base pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, location, business needs, or market demands. You can view comp zones for our US office locations in the table below. For other locations not listed, compensation can be discussed with your recruiter during the interview process.
