Position
As a Louis Vuitton Director, Store Planning, you will be an ambassador of the Brand. The Director of Store Planning is responsible for delivering store projects on time and on budget. The Director will possess strong leadership skills and is capable of organizing corporate and retail partners .
As an integral member of the team, you will help lead major projects in partnership with our SVP Store Planning. This strategic position is responsible for planning workflow, project and cost management on large scale, multi-purpose retail and hospitality projects.
Profile
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Prepare and communicate schedule and budget updates to Executive Leaders
Directs all construction teams and architects regarding the design/look of the stores to meet specifications
Partners with Merchandising team regarding space, fixtures and capacity planning
Innovation:
Negotiate and coordinate design and technical requirements, strategic scheduling and upfront planning, budgeting and hiring.
Prepare project cost analytics
Continuously evaluate performance of internal and external resources; propose and implement changes as required to ensure an optimally functioning organization and a high-performance vendor and consultant resource pool.
Initiate development opportunities with corporate and retail teams
Provide strategic and tactical leadership to ensure optimal project and brand delivery.
Create a culture that insures the highest standard of performance and quality from construction, sourcing, vendors and peers.
Develop and foster a design and business acumen accounting for regional context, clientele, and practices.
Decision Making:
Establish qualification process and standards for project related: consultants, vendors, and construction service providers; monitor to ensure compliance of quality, budget and schedule. Continually evaluate and propose modifications to ensure optimal performance.
Visit completed projects; Identify areas of needed improvement and institute changes to implement improvements in project development, project delivery, materials and assemblies.
Review with legal department lease and contract requirements for all aspects of project.
Review with internal project managers architectural drawings, shop drawings and renderings.
Ability to provide value engineering direction

The appointed candidate will be offered a salary within the range of USD$170,000 - $190,000 annually, plus the opportunity for a bonus, a comprehensive benefits package including: medical, dental, vision, short and long-term disability, various paid time off programs, employee discount/perks and two retirement plans both with employer contributions. This position is located at our Louis Vuitton Corporate Office in NYC and honors the opportunity for a hybrid on-site schedule.
