As a Senior Specialist, Maps Designer you’ll work in a dynamic team of enthusiastic and passionate people to produce event maps, VFS images, and other imagery displayed on web and app, a key element for SeatGeek. You’ll utilize your experience in graphic design and eye for detail while learning and gaining experience working in a technology focused company and the event ticketing industry. You’ll have ownership over large and small projects and will be part of the Maps & VFS Team, reporting to the Sr Manager, Maps & VFS, while given some direction from the Director, Event Operations and will be our first US based maps designer.

What You'll Do

  • Design new maps or new layouts for all type of events on SeatGeek, for both secondary and primary

  • Research and identify the primary sellers to utilize as base model for each new map created

  • Audit events on SeatGeek and making sure they use correct maps

  • Make sure listings map to the correct sections

  • Own assigned tasks/projects and adjusts schedule accordingly

  • Work on View From Seat and Collections, coordinating with external partners and updating VFS or Collections

  • Review work produced by peers

What You Have

  • 3-5 years of graphic design experience

  • Intermediate working knowledge of the Adobe CS Suite specifically Illustrator

  • Experience in a similar company from the live entertainment industry

  • Attention to detail and strong communication skills with the ability to prioritize and manage work while adhering to timelines

  • Curiosity and comfortability asking questions

  • A collaborative attitude, as well as the ability to work autonomously while welcoming feedback

  • 3D software knowledge is a plus

The salary range for this role is $80,000-$125,000. Actual compensation packages within that range are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and specific location.
