Reporting to the VP of Visual Merchandising, The Visual Merchandising Production Manager is responsible for leading and coordinating the visual management functions within our organization. They will partner closely with our Rome Headquarters’ and Local Corporates’ Window Design and Visual Merchandising teams to coordinate, produce, and install in-store window displays, pop-ups, and in-store animations in our retail locations across the Americas. They will collaborate cross-functionally with various departments, ensuring seamless planning, oversight, and execution of projects related to our visual merchandising productions.

Manager, Visual Merchandising Production - New York, NY - Corporate Office

Base Salary:

$85,000/yr - $90,000/yr


Job Responsibilities

•    Partner closely with Rome Headquarters’ and local Corporate’s Window Design and Visual Merchandising teams to coordinate, produce and install all windows and creative projects in retail locations across Canada, USA, Brazil, and Mexico.
•    Communicate new projects to the VM field team with comprehensive documents and guidelines.
•    Prioritize and follow logistics for global orders on décor elements with local and international suppliers.
•    Handle the windows budget tracker, negotiate with suppliers and vendors, forecast budget for each window scheme and provide up-to-date fiscal information to the department director.
•    In partnership with VM field team, prepare production schedules, run-of-shows while ensuring deliveries are timely and within budget.
•    Liaise with multiple external vendors, identifying and sourcing props, materials, hardware etc., and build a database of quality suppliers and manufacturers.
•    Handling the PO process (raising, tracking, and confirming payment) and provide follow up to VM department and vendors when required.
•    Partner with finance by leading the PO process (raising and supervising the PO process from beginning to end) and providing follow up to VM department and vendors when required.
•    Prioritize, run, and lead all aspects of the selection, production, and installation of creative projects including lightboxes, vinyl, and props.
•    Embrace initial creatives and bring forth new design proposals to improve the windows and in-store animations. Lead and be responsible for the selection, production, and installation of creative projects including lightboxes, vinyl’s, and props.
•    Lead the creation of window layouts based on creative guidelines from head office to produce high quality window schemes in the most cost-efficient manner.
•    Arrange for security during installations at all scheduled doors.
•    Be on site during key window and event installations to ensure seamless delivery, install and breakdown of activity. 
•    Facilitate post window reviews to identify improvements in procedures, successes and opportunities, and potential cost savings.
•    Prioritize and catalog all networks window and interior floorplans, layouts, and final pictures for our archives.
•    Prioritizing and leading the ethical recycling and disposal of all dated schemes and props, with a focus on sustainability.

Qualifications

•    Minimum 3 years of Visual Management experience and/or a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; visual merchandising, retail, interior design, architecture, etc.
•    Understanding and appreciation of luxury / prestige industry with a strong sense of visual style.
•    Professional communication and presentation skills with a passion for innovation, creativity, and the ability to deliver work with a standard of excellence.
•    Formidable interpersonal skills to work cross-functionally as a member of the creative services and VM Team. 
•    Shown experience of leading and delivering window installations and in-store projects across multiple locations simultaneously.
•    Remains calm under pressure, can complete a number of tasks simultaneously and maintain excellent attention to detail while working to strict deadlines.
•    Competent to work independently, understanding the full strategic vision of the brand and displaying agility and flexibility to achieve results in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
•    Possess a highly attuned attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
•    Bring a solution orientated approach to challenges. 
•    Excellent digital literacy: including Adobe CS and Microsoft Suite programs. 
•    Experience in 3D modeling (Rhino Sketch Up, 3DS Max, Cinema 4d, etc.) required. 
•    Expert understanding of production techniques both 2D and 3D.
•    Knowledge of Purchase Order Process and Budget Management.
•    Ability to travel internationally as needed 25%
•    Available to work overnight when needed.
•    Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
•    Foreign language skill a plus.
