Figma is seeking a Content Strategist to join our Story Studio team. As we continue to grow and innovate, we're looking for a passionate individual with strong editorial and organizational skills to help shape and share Figma's story with the world.

What you’ll do at Figma:
Expand our operations cross-functionally and globally, ensuring our storytelling efforts align with Figma's global presence and diverse user base.
Manage an editorial calendar and workflow, coordinating content creation and distribution across various marketing and product touchpoints.
Drive content distribution both internally and externally, collaborating with cross-functional partners to extend and expand our reach and impact.
Help scaffold and distribute messaging frameworks, ensuring consistency and clarity in Figma's brand voice across all platforms.
Manage budget and vendor relationships, optimizing resources to deliver high-quality content and experiences.
Scope work across the creative team, balancing resources and priorities to meet both short-term needs and long-term strategic goals.
Build and manage production plans, ensuring all team members understand project objectives, strategy, scope, roles, responsibilities, and milestones through to launch.
Streamline the intake process by collaborating cross-functionally, connecting overlapping requests, and prioritizing competing projects against team and business objectives.
Support the creative team in producing high-quality content.
We'd love to hear from you if you have:
3+ years experience in content production, editorial planning, and cross-functional project management within the SaaS industry
Proven experience managing and creating editorial calendars
Possess strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Demonstrate excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
A keen eye for storytelling and brand consistency
Comfortability working with budgets and managing vendor relationships
Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
Proven experience with or interest in design tools and the tech industry
Demonstrated a strong editorial sensibility and the ability to maintain consistent voice and tone across various content types
Proven experience with implementing and distributing editorial guidelines and best practices
While not required, it’s an added plus if you also have:
Experience with Figma, or other UX/UI design tools
Video production experience
Experience with SEO and content distribution strategies
Knowledge of web analytics and content performance metrics
Experience with community engagement or advocacy programs
Familiarity with agile methodologies
Experience with international or multi-language content strategies

Pay Transparency Disclosure
If based in Figma’s San Francisco or New York hub offices, this role has the annual base salary range stated below.
Job level and actual compensation will be decided based on factors including, but not limited to, individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process (including skills and prior relevant experience, potential impact, and scope of role), market demands, and specific work location. The listed range is a guideline, and the range for this role may be modified. For roles that are available to be filled remotely, the pay range is localized according to employee work location by a factor of between 80% and 100% of range. Annual Base Salary Range (SF/NY Hub):
$122,000 - $260,000 USD
