You will combine your architectural design expertise with retail experience to develop and oversee the implementation of On stores, following the brand’s design and technical guidelines within each project’s given space, specific requirements, and schedule. Your Mission
Design On stores, guiding them from an empty shell to a fully realized fit-out, while ensuring consistent adherence to the On brand, aesthetic, and architectural identity.
Deliver comprehensive conceptual and schematic designs, covering zoning, preliminary studies, modeling, render visualization, and presentations.
Prepare internal approval presentations, incorporating 3D Interior Renderings,
Sample Boards, and Storefront Elevations when necessary.
Ensure designs align with landlord design criteria, and that construction documents comply with architectural and quality standards, building codes, and health and safety regulations.
Collaborate with external design agencies, local architects, general contractors, and other suppliers to uphold On's retail standards.
Review and verify design drawings to ensure adherence to the design intent by assigned architects.
Work closely with construction Project Managers on each project, developing solutions for construction and scheduling challenges.
Coordinate with various internal departments, including Construction Managers, Retail Operations, Visual Experience (VM), Retail Technology, and IT, to ensure flawless project completion.
Assist with landlord communications on all projects.
Conduct on-site observations when required.
Your story
Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or equivalent experience
Minimum 5 years of experience in retail. Hospitality and F&B experience are also welcomed.
Proven track record of successful retail concept development or design lead role of key projects
Expert in 2D/3D software: AutoCAD, Sketch-up, V-Ray, Adobe Suite, etc.
Expert in detail-oriented construction and fixture development.
Experience in building codes, accessibility regulations, and other relevant construction constraints.
Experience in fast-paced projects with the ability to manage consistently tight deadlines, multiple projects, and deliverables
About the Team
You will be an integral part of our dynamic Retail Expansion team, overseeing cross-functional projects that span market analysis, retail strategy, concept development, and final delivery. This includes handling construction and fit-out projects, ranging from smaller stores to large flagship locations. Collaborating with key stakeholders in Retail, Marketing, and Visual Merchandising, your role is pivotal in creating a consistent consumer experience across all retail touchpoints.

The typical cash compensation range for this position inclusive of base + bonus: is $90,0000-$105,000 Individual compensation packages are based on various factors unique to each candidate including experience, industry knowledge, qualifications, skill set, and location. Certain roles may be eligible for equity compensation in addition to cash compensation.
