Position Overview

We are looking for an enthusiastic, detail-oriented Entry-Level General 3D Artist to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to start their career in the 3D art world, specifically within the home building and construction industry. You will work alongside experienced 3D artists, designers, and developers to produce high-quality visual content for a range of software applications, marketing campaigns, and client presentations.

As an entry-level 3D Artist, you will be responsible for creating 3D models, textures, lighting setups, and animations, working primarily in Unreal Engine, 3ds Max, Substance, and various other industry-standard tools like Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects. Your work will directly contribute to the visualization of architectural designs, real estate presentations, virtual tours, and product marketing content.



Key Responsibilities

  • 3D Modeling: Create and optimize 3D models of homes, buildings, environments, and interior elements based on provided references and project requirements.

  • Texturing & Shading: Develop realistic textures and materials using Substance Painter and other texturing tools, ensuring high-quality assets that fit project needs.

  • Lighting & Rendering: Set up lighting scenes in Unreal Engine and 3ds Max to enhance the realism and aesthetics of the final render.

  • Asset Optimization: Optimize 3D assets for use in real-time engines, ensuring smooth performance for interactive experiences and virtual tours.

  • Animation & Motion Graphics: Assist in creating animations for product demonstrations, virtual tours, or marketing materials using tools like After Effects.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with the design and development teams to ensure visual assets are aligned with project requirements and technical specifications.

  • Post-Production Support: Provide assistance in post-production for rendering and compositing 3D assets into final marketing content using Photoshop, After Effects, and other software as needed.

  • Feedback & Iteration: Take constructive feedback and make adjustments to assets and designs to improve quality and meet client needs.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant coursework in 3D Art, Animation, Graphic Design, Architecture, or related fields (or equivalent practical experience).

  • Familiarity with key industry-standard software, including:

  • Unreal Engine (basic understanding)

  • 3ds Max (or equivalent 3D modeling software)

  • Photoshop and Illustrator (for texture work, image editing, and design)

  • Substance Painter (or other texturing tools)

  • After Effects (basic knowledge for motion graphics or animations)

  • Strong understanding of 3D modeling, texturing, lighting, and rendering processes.

  • Solid problem-solving skills and an eagerness to learn and improve your technical skills.

  • Ability to work within project timelines and prioritize tasks effectively.

  • Excellent attention to detail and a passion for creating visually stunning, high-quality assets.

  • A collaborative mindset with good communication skills to work effectively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with architectural visualization or knowledge of the home building industry.

  • Understanding of real-time rendering workflows in Unreal Engine.

  • Basic knowledge of VR/AR technologies and workflows.

  • Experience working with 3D scanning or photogrammetry data.

  • A strong portfolio demonstrating 3D modeling, texturing, and rendering skills.
