Role Overview

The primary role of the VDC Visualization Specialist focuses on advanced visualization to support project pursuits, preconstruction efforts, and business development at Structure Tone. The ideal candidate brings a strong architectural background and is adept at overseeing the entire visualization pipeline, including 3D modeling, texturing, rendering, post-production, and animation. Ability to work with tight deadlines within a face-paced environment. This role requires the ability to succeed under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment, combining technical expertise with creative vision to produce high-quality visuals that clearly communicate project intent.

RESPOSIBILITIES And FUNCTIONS

  • Lead the 3D visualization process, ensuring superior quality and consistency across all stages of the pipeline.

  • Develop detailed 3D models and high-quality renderings for impactful client presentations.

  • Perform post-production enhancements, ensuring polished and professional final outputs.

  • Create animations to effectively communicate design intent and project narratives.

  • Collaborate with marketing and project teams to support business development initiatives and project pursuits.

  • Maintain a high level of standards and consistently deliver predictable, high-quality outcomes.

  • Generate existing condition and as-built models from 3D scans with accuracy and efficiency.

  • Produce construction sequences and 4D animations to visualize project timelines and processes.

  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of construction sequences is a plus.

  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks across various projects.

  • Basic understanding of construction and generally accepted business practices.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, project management tools, and relevant web applications.

  • A professional and positive demeanor with a strong focus on customer service excellence.

  • Effective communication skills for collaborative work with construction personnel, executives, architects, engineers, owners, and subcontractors.

  • Proficiency in public speaking and presentation, coupled with creative problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for aesthetics and quality control.

  • Openness to adapt based on diverse feedback and changing project requirements.

  • Strong teamwork orientation, initiative, communication, problem-solving, and leadership capabilities.


EDUCATION And EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Candidates should meet the following criteria:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in architecture or a related field.

  • Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and Autodesk BIM Collaborate.

  • Familiarity with Autodesk Construction Cloud, Point Cloud, and Autodesk ReCap.

  • Experience with parametric and simulation tools such as Dynamo, Grasshopper, Twinmotion, and Navisworks.

  • Intermediate to advanced skills in visualization, animation, and rendering using Enscape, Lumion, Twinmotion, and 3DS Max.

  • 2D/3D post-production skills using Adobe Creative Suite and PowerPoint are preferred.

  • Prior related experience in a similar role is a plus.


Salary Range

  • $80,000 - 110,000
