About Beam
Beam is building the financial operating system for construction businesses. Our goal is to accelerate the development of housing and infrastructure by empowering builders with better financial tools and services. Our product helps SMB and mid-market contractors manage project budgets, pay bills, send invoices, accept online payment, stay compliant, and more.
You’ll be joining our fully in-person team located in a beautiful office in the Financial District in San Francisco. We are backed by Accel, Zigg Capital, Susa, Wischoff Ventures, as well as executives at fintechs and constructions businesses like Stripe and Toll Brothers. Team members were early employees at Stripe, Robinhood, Parafin, Pipe, Belong, and more.

What you’ll do
Drive customer success and growth at Beam
As a Customer Success Associate, you'll work directly with our customers to ensure they get maximum value from Beam's financial solutions. You'll be responsible for customer onboarding, relationship management, and driving adoption of our platform. As an early team member, you'll have the opportunity to shape our customer success function and processes from the ground up.
On any given day, you might
Guide new customers through their onboarding and implementation journey
Proactively engage with customers to ensure their success and satisfaction, leveraging new technologies and processes to drive efficiency
Troubleshoot customer issues and coordinate with internal teams for resolution
Use Hubspot to track customer interactions and maintain detailed records
Collaborate with product and design to advocate for customers’ feature requests based on their feedback
Create and maintain customer success resources and documentation
Monitor customer health metrics and identify opportunities for expansion
What you need
1-3 years of customer-facing experience
Strong verbal and written communication skills
An entrepreneurial and scrappy mindset: a self-starter able to thrive in ambiguity
A bias towards process and documentation
Nice to have
Experience working with small businesses or construction companies
Basic understanding of construction industry workflows
Experience and/or comfort with financial technology (e.g., payments)
Experience providing Spanish-language support and training
Previous startup experience
