We are seeking a dynamic Spatial Experience Designer to join our Los Angeles team.

The ideal candidate has 1-3 years agency experience, a proven track record working quickly to ideate and create 2D and 3D elements that WOW - from conceptual and schematic to final build

Job Responsibilities:

  • Concepting: Actively participate in the ideation process for RFPs & Sold Business.

  • Design Development: Creative development through Inspiration Boards, Furniture and Décor Selections, 2D Floorplans, and 3D Renderings.

  • Fabrication: Create technical drawings to execute all custom design elements. Ability to directly interface with vendors & conduct shop visits when necessary to make sure fabricated elements are built as designed.

  • Interdepartmental Collaboration: Spatial Experience Designers are responsible for understanding their full role in the project & ensuring that their deliverables are on track with project deadlines. The Spatial Experience Designer will work closely with Brand Experience, Project Management and Production leads to ensure designs are within budget and accomplishing client goals. The designer will also work closely with the graphic design team to develop 2D and 3D assets that are accurately integrated into the overarching event design.

  • Presentations: Should be comfortable in presenting the creative work to internal teams.

  • Onsite: Ability to travel for projects, when necessary, and ensure the design quality is preserved during load in through onsite styling.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Scenic Design, Architecture, Interior Design, Industrial Design or similar and/or training in art and technology, computer/digital art.

  • Have a proven track record of creative execution with 3+ years' experience.

  • Excellent working knowledge of 2D drafting software for floorplans & technical drawings (such as AutoCAD, Sketchup, Rhino, or Vectorworks)

  • Proficient in 3d modelling software (such as Rhino, CAD, Sketchup, )

  • Ability to create stunning visuals with simulated materials & lighting using rendering software such as Unreal and `Cinema 4d..

  • Mastery of Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator & other relevant Creative Suite tools.

  • Understanding and past professional experience in experiential event design and brand experience.

  • Must be able to work creatively within a budget.

  • Ability to multi-task and juggle multiple projects with tight deadlines.

  • Strong communication skills: pictorial, written and verbal.

  • Strong creative and problem-solving skills combined with attention to detail.

  • Positive can-do attitude. Self-Motivated, energetic, and organized.

  • Proven ability to work and thrive as a member of a team in a fast-paced creative deadline driven environment.

  • Ability to work long hours as needed.

  • Be a self-starter and have meticulous follow-through.

  • Passionate about events and experiences!

LOCATION

The ideal candidate is located in LA; however, we will consider candidates within driving distance to the city.
