Senior Director, Workplace Design and Experience - Google (NYC, NY)
Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Design, Industrial Design, Architecture, Social Science, or equivalent practical experience.
15 years of experience in corporate workplace design, architecture, or related disciplines.
Experience in a principal, studio director, or director of design in a global, complex corporate real estate organization in a leadership capacity.
Experience in data analysis and design
Preferred qualifications:
Master's degree in Design, Industrial Design, Architecture, Social Science.
Detail-oriented and highly proficient in producing and delivering executive level presentations and communications with the ability to read audiences and adapt communication styles and delivery methods accordingly.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to build and lead multidisciplinary teams with collaboration outside of corporate real estate including human resources and technology.
Excellent problem solving skills and ability to prioritize evolving initiatives in a fast-paced environment, translate ideas and capabilities into unconventional solutions, and deliver effective initiatives that exceed expectations and spur market transformation.

Compensation
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $275,000-$396,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
Drive Google's evolving workplace design, collaborating across REWS stakeholders, UX teams, and industry pioneers. Align design with Google's values while fostering local creativity and innovation.
Consult on all scales of design (e.g., systems, infrastructure, interiors, architecture, placemaking) to offer insightful solutions for Google's real estate footprint.
Develop and articulate Google's workplace design principles, desired outcomes, and outlook, ensuring alignment globally, this may include crafting design guidelines, leading visioning workshops, and presenting to key stakeholders.
Build and lead multidisciplinary teams, providing guidance and mentorship to create work environments.
