Retail & Workplace Leasing Lead - Americas  - On (NYC, NY)

Join our fast-growing global sports brand as a Retail & Workplace Leasing Lead - Americas. You’ll play a key role across the Commercial and Infrastructure teams with the primary goal of expanding our retail and office footprint in line with our retail and headcount growth plans. In this role, you will support the Real Estate team by leading leasing of new stores and new offices while also driving the strategy of the existing leased portfolio in the Americas region.


Your Mission

  • Lead alignment with regional leadership and retail strategy to ensure retail and workplace city priorities support our growth objectives - Build external partner strategy with landlords and brokers within your region

  • Prepare shortlisted sites for internal approval and leadership review

  • Evaluate shortlisted sites in accordance with our guiding real estate principles

  • Negotiate all major financial deal terms and lease obligations with brokers, landlords, and lawyers on complex deals

  • Partner with design and construction to understand site feasibility and project timelines


Your story

  • 5-6 years of corporate real estate experience (e.g. in-house, brokerage, development) in a leasing capacity, ideally in a retail and workplace or comparable environment

  • Well-versed in lease contracts from a real estate, construction, and legal perspective

  • Significant experience in complex deal negotiations across multiple geographies

  • Comfortable working within Microsoft Office (specifically, Excel and Powerpoint)

  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written

Compensation

Typical cash compensation range for this position inclusive of base + bonus: $100,000 - $124,000. Individual compensation packages are based on various factors unique to each candidate including experience, industry knowledge, qualifications, skill set, and location. Certain roles may be eligible for equity compensation in addition to cash compensation. At On we understand cash compensation is just one piece of your total rewards package.
