As a Senior Environments Designer, Concepts, you will directly contribute to the ideation and execution of designs which support the physical and aspirational Starbucks experience. This includes contributing to innovation projects to help evolve our brand and support our existing portfolio and new store growth. Your primary mission is to participate in the ideation, creation and collaboration of design strategy and tactical execution. You will be working within an always evolving, design focused brand, which continues to invest deeply in positive partner and customer connections. $133,500 - $208,700/annually

As a Senior Environments Designer, you will…
Lead and elevate design and uphold the aspirations of a global and enduring brand.
Contribute to the Design of highly influential projects that impact the entire ecosystem of the Starbucks brand experience.
Facilitate and contribute to an active and collaborative multi-disciplinary design-oriented culture, providing own subject expertise.
Engage in a hands-on, positive, and impactful work which respond to the business aspirations of the brand, while uplifting the entire design team.
We’d love to hear from people with:
Design excellence and experience within typologies of retail, hospitality, or restaurant design. (7 years min.)
Individual and team led contribution to design programs and projects (7-10 years)
Comfort in managing direct reports and helping navigate self and team individual career goals and development (5-7 years).
Bachelor’s degree required in relevant field of Architecture, Interior Design
Systems thinking approach to holistic design processes to achieve successful outcomes.
Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration (verbal/oral/written) skills.
Current knowledge and subject expertise in industry trends related to retail store and restaurant hospitality design including architectural or interior architecture technical detailing, furniture and finishes detailing and application, encouraged.
Familiar knowledge of building and health codes, accessibility, inclusivity and code compliance.
Demonstrated working knowledge of production activities in Revit or AutoCAD.
Demonstrated experience and advanced use of Sketchup and 3D visualization.
Able to lead individuals and workstreams collaboratively when needed, or independently with appropriate supervision to milestone deliverables.
Organizational skills; attention to detail; passion for work and team
Ability to manage through ambiguity, multi-task and prioritize decisions/deliverables with peers and stake-holders (Director et all).
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
