Rockstar Games is seeking a talented branding designer to join our in-house creative team at our NYC headquarters. This is an opportunity to be part of a team working to evolve the brand of one of the biggest names in entertainment, with one of the most iconic logos in the world. This individual will have a passion for all things design, with an exceptional eye for detail, and dedication to the creative process from ideation to execution. Their interests should lie at the nexus of culture and entertainment, with a commitment to following striking, design-led brands.
Projects will include clothing graphic design, merchandise and other general branding led creative. We are looking for someone that demonstrate a distinct vision and an acute awareness of how to visually communicate brand identities across multiple mediums and formats.
WHAT WE DO
The Creative Team is responsible for the visual media associated with the biggest innovative entertainment properties in the world.
We work closely with our Publishing department to deliver distinctive, engaging, and above all, premium creative.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Work closely with the department lead to reinforce and evolve our brand identity across a wide range of executions, including print campaigns, physical merchandise and apparel, social media, and more.
Deliver high-quality design concepts and creative materials as required, with an ability to balance multiple projects in pursuit of a larger creative objective.
Collaborate with multiple teams to ensure business, marketing, and large publishing needs are met, while remaining nimble and agile to changing requirements.
Work on multiple projects simultaneously to realize the organization's creative marketing goals.
*NY Pay Range
$88,500—$113,800 USD
QUALIFICATIONS
A passion for art, design, games, music, film, and contemporary culture in general is essential.
A thorough understanding of current design and fashion trends.
Expertise in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and typography skills.
Strong track record for developing striking, cohesive visual identities, ideally with experience across (or strong awareness of) a variety of industries and brands.
Some knowledge and understanding of digital, print, and production processes, including fabrication.
SKILLS
Ability to consistently deliver dynamic, thoughtful and innovative content.
Conceptual creative skillset, with an ability to communicate ideas clearly and effectively.
Excellent organizational and prioritization skills, attention to detail, process knowledge and ability to multi-task.
Proactive, with an ability to identify new creative means to support the brand, including cohesive, holistic creative solutions from physical merchandise to studio artwork, and everything in between.
Ability to work autonomously as well as a part of a larger team.

The ideal candidate will have a robust portfolio with an emphasis in visual identity, featuring output or conceptual work for contemporary, design-led brands.

The pay range for this position in New York State (inclusive of New York City) at the start of employment is expected to be between the range below* per year. However, base pay offered is based on market location, and may vary further depending on individualized factors for job candidates, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to those same considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a bonus and/or equity awards, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
