What to Expect
Tesla Design Studio Architectural team is seeking a motivated, skillful and creative designer or Architect with 5-10 years of experience to join a rewarding and fast-paced work environment. The candidate will work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to contribute to highly visible architectural projects that represent Tesla's design philosophy and vision, not only at Tesla's Global Headquarters in Austin, but also across the globe. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn, quick to adapt, and must be a communicative team player. This position is full-time, in-person and located in Austin, TX.
What You’ll Do
Design iteration and presentation
Materials, finishes and systems research
Architectural and interior detailing
Site visits, construction administration, and field reports
Prepare renderings, diagrams, drawings and reports for executive presentations
Work with team to take projects from concept to completion
Discipline coordination and construction documentation
What You’ll Bring
Bachelors Degree in Architecture, experience and evidence of exceptional ability, or equivalent
A genuine interest in Tesla's mission and the electric vehicle industry, and a passion for design
5-10 years of professional experience
Proficiency in modeling, visualization and documentation software (Revit, Rhino, Enscape, TwinMotion, Adobe Suite, Office Suite, etc.)
Big picture thinker with attention to details
Work well under pressure and can manage multiple projects at the same time
Must be highly organized with outstanding prioritization skills
