Position Responsibilities;
Execute creative and visualization on projects supporting the agreed upon win strategy and as directed. In some cases, may assist in developing the seed idea. Solutions should uniquely and purposefully meet and exceed client expectations and objectives within budget parameters both for the project and for ongoing cost of ownership.
Creative work will typically have a heavy dose of account design (existing clients) as well as new business assignments where appropriate.
Typically will work on higher budget projects and sometimes may direct other designers.
Complete concept ideation efforts independently or with the team.
Adhere to the established creative process.
Work within allocated hours and meet given deadlines. If issues arise with hours or deadlines, communicate this to your supervisor.
Consistently interact and collaborate with estimating to ensure client budget compliance and to explore innovative solutions and options that deliver more for the client at lower costs. Effectively interact with customers through pre-sale process and have the ability to participate in presentations. Clearly articulate ideas and strategies for internal meetings. Generate expected deliverables (based on deliverables standards).
Internally and externally present ideas either in person or via remote technologies in a cohesive, well thought-out manner.
Provide leadership and support to divisional Creative Initiatives
Accurately report time and status on a daily basis.
Attend project and departmental meetings.
Maintain creative files within the appropriate project folders on the server, using appropriate naming conventions and file structure.
Stay abreast of relevant trends inside and outside of the industry to keep yourself on the leading edge of creativity.
Position Qualifications:
Four year college degree in Industrial Design
5-7 year's, Tradeshow/Event industry experience preferred
3D Studio Max a plus
Strong account management & customer service experience required.
Highly organized, flexible and ability to work necessary hours in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment.
Strong conflict resolution skills & ability to multi-task.
Possess solid communication and organization skills required.
Ability to travel to show site and client locations as needed.
