Visual Designer - Globant (Seattle, WA)

Compensation - Base Salary: Min 90,000, Max 125,000

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

If you are a Visual Designer, we want to meet you!

 

WHAT WILL HELP YOU SUCCEED:

  • 5+ years of experience with web and mobile application design, responsive design and grid principles.

  • 2+ years of experience in a lead visual design role

  • Strong knowledge of the stages of the design process, from inception to final delivery

  • Proficient in Interaction and design tools such as Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, Framer, Figma and Invision

  • Working experience with agile teams and production of design documentation

  • Strong typography and visual design skills should be reflected in your portfolio

  • Deep knowledge of design thinking principles and methodologies

  • Experienced working with cross functional teams and understanding how visual design fits into the development process

  • Strong portfolio that showcases design experience

  • 5+ years experience, including leading and coordinating design teams

  • Bachelor's degree in Human-Computer Interactions (HCI), Library & Information Sciences,

  • Interaction Design, Graphic Design, or related field, UX. Advanced degree preferred

  • Experience in remote work culture

  • Experience designing design systems, contributing to their evolution, and applying branding guidelines to user interface design

  • Effective communication skills and engaging presentation style

  • Strong understanding of business objectives. Understanding of long-term vision of a product and identifying opportunities where design can impact those objectives.

  • Ability to weigh competing priorities, manage trade-offs, and evaluate new ideas and opportunities

  • A learning and growth mindset that is open to giving and receiving feedback and coaching others to do the same

  • Values a diverse and inclusive work environment

  • EST/CST time zones preferred
