Digital Innovator II - Nike (Beaverton, OR)

We are seeking a Digital Innovator II to help us research, define and develop advanced digital capabilities that serve to unlock and deliver the future of Nike’s product performance, sustainability and digital additive manufacturing strategies.

What you will work on:

As a Digital Innovator II you will be revolutionizing the intersection of technology, design, manufacturing and the R&D of physical products, exploring ways to unlock new digitally driven additive product opportunities through innovative digital solutions. You will use your software development and robotics expertise to build rapid and functional digital proofs of concepts and prototypes that serve to unlock disruptive products and platforms.

The Digital Innovator works across the Advanced Innovation Collective (AIC) and product creation teams, connecting with other digital innovators and key internal and external partners to research, develop, and deliver data driven digital concepts and solutions. The ideal candidate is curious, innovative and a creative problem solver that brings their wealth of diversity to Nike Innovation, has proven experience and domain expertise, as well as an established track record in delivering production output and digital software solutions.

What you bring:

  • Bachelors' degree or equivalent combination of education and experience and training

  • 4 years professional experience in software engineering

  • AWS native solutions (required)

  • ROS-based software development for robotic systems (required)

  • Design full-stack applications (required)

  • Integrate with RESTful APIs (required)

  • JavaScript (preferred)

  • Python (preferred)

  • C/C++ (preferred)

  • RAPID and/or RobotStudio (preferred)

  • Real Time 3D development, e.g. Unity, Unreal, ThreeJS, etc. (preferred)

  • Continuous Integration with automated testing (preferred)

  • Continuous Delivery to AWS (preferred)

  • Innovation approach with the ability to flourish in a fast paced, rapid prototyping environment

  • High motivation and passion for continuous learning

  • Exceptional collaboration, listening, written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to see the big picture and decompose it into domains
