We’re looking for a CAD Designer (NX) to join our Spectacles Design Team!

What you’ll do:

  • Work directly with the Industrial Design Team on project requirements

  • Build CAD designs of innovative wearables and products

  • Support all phases of industrial design through CAD Models 

  • Build and refine 3D Models, drawings and documentation

  • 3D print and prototype different CAD designs

  • Create final class A surface for Engineering to develop tooling

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Strong technical understanding of consumer electronics, camera, and display technologies

  • Ability to organize and build models with diligence 

  • Basic knowledge of manufacturing, tolerances and materials

  • Proactive; self-motivated and willing to explore new territory and challenges

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment 

  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s in a related field such as industrial design, product design, transportation design, 3D modeling, architecture, fine arts or equivalent years of experience

  • 4+ years professional experience in consumer electronics

  • Proficiency with parametric modeling with Siemens NX (Unigraphics)

  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with physical 3D models and prototypes

  • Experience with 3D printing

  • Experience using Google Suite or related products

  • Strong portfolio of completed work from early modeling surfaces to production manufacture tooling releases
