Experiential Designer - Aquent (Hybrid in Spring, TX)

We have an exciting long-term opportunity to be part of a start-up initiative within one of our largest Energy company clients as they work to reimagine and modernize the consumer journey of taking control of their vehicle’s maintenance.

This role will be hybrid on and offsite at our client's North Houston location. Benefits, PTO, sick pay offered!

They are looking for someone with overall EXPERIENCE Design, both digital and experiential. The right candidate may consider themselves to be a highly adaptable design generalist with a particular area of strength (including ethnographic research, visualization, personas, UI/UX, storytelling, communications, qualitative measurement, prototyping, etc). Ultimately, this person will have a diversity of skills that will enable them to succeed in a variety of areas, such as assessing a website experience, assessing and improving a user journey, or observing and making recommendations on a live experience in a shop or other non-digital purchase journey.

Experience Designers must be:

  • Passionate about design with an innovative spirit that embraces and supports aspirational ideas and bold innovation.

  • Be a system thinking who can immerse strategically and tactically, apply design concepts to real-world business ecosystems, and make informed recommendations when inspired problem solving requires a decision

  • Have a full range of human-centered design techniques to lead teams through discovery, problem definition, ideation and prototype iteration with users and stakeholders

  • Be able to build a holistic understanding of customer problems from end-to-end, and the ability to craft long-term roadmaps.

  • Able to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, working cross-functionally with teams such as brand, marketing, digital, analytics, products, operations, and engineering.

  • Passionate contributors to continuous improvement of Experience Design practices and standards, with ability to specify a particular design expertise (including ethnographic research, visualization, personas, UI/UX, storytelling, communications, qualitative measurement, prototyping, etc) that contributes to a balanced set of advanced skills across the Experience Design team.
