Director, Architecture and Design, Brand Standards - Taco Bell (Irvine, CA)
Salary Range: $151,900 to $191,840 annually + bonus eligibility + equity (if applicable) + benefits
This position will align Brand Design and Brand Standards strategies, identifying methods which will create the most effective and efficient processes for implementation of those strategies. This person will lead the team through all project phases to ensure the delivery of a clearly presented and polished product that meets Taco Bell Brand Design standards. The Brand Design team evaluates, reviews, and signs off over 750 designs per year, which have contributed to our unique restaurant assets both domestically and overseas.

The Day-to-Day:
Create,design, and develop prototypical tools for restaurant remodels and new build strategies while positively impacting margins and other business metrics
Lead the creation and maintenance of project timelines/schedules relating to rollout franchise and company-owned restaurant remodels and new builds projects
Build strong relationships with franchisees and cross-functional partners to align strategy up and down the organization
Consistently evolve and develop new processes and systems to continue to meet new growth demands, while maintaining and ensuring brand standards are maintained or exceeded
Lead and develop a high-performing team
Is This You?
Degree in Architecture or equivalent relevant field preferred and Architecture license required
Experience in progressive multi-unit construction, development, and design management environments in the restaurant, hospitality, or retail industries
Experience in project management in Retail Interiors and Architecture projects preferred
Superior knowledge of design trends with a track record for implementing and/or improving systems and procedures
Experience communicating project ideas using hand sketches, computer design tools such as 3D modeling, AutoCAD, BIM (Revit), Sketchup, Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, and Indesign), Bluebeam Revu
