Job Description
TIDAL's Creative Studio develops work that spans across channels, including but not limited to: web, social, email, experiential, broadcast, print, and on-platform. Production Designers are an important part of a creative team of art directors, copywriters, visual and motion designers, and project managers. However, on a daily basis, we also work with partners (like Brand and Product Marketing, Social, Partnerships, Editorial, Retention) and Creative Leadership. The team is globally distributed, relying on standardized file and project organization to facilitate seamless cross-timezone handoffs.
Production Designers collaborate with other members of our Creative Brand Studio to develop creative, on-brand solutions that help tell TIDAL's story, and amplify our promise of forging connections between artists and music lovers. This is a crucial, hands-on role that requires the ability to support the Creative Studio in preparing creative assets for a variety of digital channels. You'll apply your creativity and technical skills to the task of ensuring TIDAL maintains a consistent and high-quality brand presence through our work. This means considering details like building file names that communicate with the next person down the line, collecting the latest visual assets from product designers, and collaborating with teammates across departments and locales to clarify requirements, goals, expectations, and timelines. Additionally, this is a remote role that will work with team members in New York and Europe.
You Will:
Prepare and deliver image assets for web, email, paid marketing, social, and other digital communication channels.
Develop a comprehensive understanding of TIDAL's brand guidelines and visual standards.
Coordinate with product designers to procure and organize up-to-date, working UI files for use in brand and product advertising.
Use device screenshots, simulators, and software tools (Figma, Photoshop) to build screen imagery to market TIDAL's software products, at a variety of resolutions and across multiple locales and languages.
Adapt imagery across responsive breakpoints and international locales.
Work within and advocate for the production constraints of each channel. Identify new constraints we hadn't understood before.
Partner with copywriters to develop and design new layouts and imagery within established design systems. Present designs both virtually and in person.
Juggle a mix of large and small projects, often with overlapping priority and urgency.
Build and maintain working files inside a collaborative file structure.
Ship quickly. Find new efficiencies. Keep an eye on the small stuff.
Work remotely with team members in New York and Europe.
Report to TIDAL's Creative Studio Marketing Lead
