Workplace Design Manager - Deloitte (Multiple U.S. Locations)

A reasonable estimate of the current salary range is $86,425 - $177,470.

The Workplace Design Manager’s key responsibility will be in the thoughtful application of Deloitte’s workplace design strategy for location-specific projects. They will work within Real Estate Services, and team with internal partners (Operations, ITS, Security) and external consultants in the development, application and refinement of Deloitte’s Workplace Strategy.

The position requires in-depth knowledge of how hybrid work and technology advancement is driving changes in real estate, workplace strategy, and design.  

The Workplace Design Manager will report directly to the Workplace Design Leader.

Responsibilities: 

  • Drive thoughtful application of Deloitte’s workplace strategy and design on projects in partnership with our internal and external teams; drive quality reviews and push innovation

  • Drive continuous improvement in delivery process and design of Deloitte’s workplace strategy, given the speed of change and staying out in front to deliver an innovative approach

  • Manage measurement process (surveys, focus groups, etc.) leading to the refinement and improvement of design

  • Manage feedback process and updates to design standards documentation from Operations, ITS, and Security

  • Document and maintain workplace design guidelines and specifications

  • Develop and document workplace furniture standards

  • Educate and communicate across Deloitte teams, to deliver understanding of Deloitte’s workplace strategy, why (background), and the value for Deloitte

Job Requirements:  

  • Minimum B.A. or B.S. in Interior Design or Architecture

  • Eight+ years, experience designing corporate interiors, leading all aspects of design, leading senior client presentations, and alternative workplace strategy development

  • Previous experience managing design and service providers is preferred

  • Strong communications (written and verbal) skills; proficient in English (written and spoken); technical writing skills preferred

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future

  • Travel will be required.

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.  The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.  At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. 

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
