We work hand in hand with the award-winning creative teams that forge those innovative partnerships at Translation (our in-house creative advertising agency).

What you’ll do

The Designer is at the forefront of creating and producing engaging visual elements for the UM brand, playing a significant role in the creative process, having input into the necessary brand elements, contributing to business development pitches, and generating other creative and compelling materials our teams need to excite, inspire and influence the audiences we serve. You’ll be responsible for:

   ●      Communicating with stakeholders on design project needs and requests.
   ●      Problem solving and taking design feedback from project owners and stakeholders
   ●      Designing a wide variety of assets that range, everywhere from brand visuals to product launch campaigns to impactful performance marketing assets (and everything in between).
   ●      Interpreting creative briefs and taking ownership of the projects through completion.
   ●      Art direction POV that can contribute to ideation.
   ●      Writing and conceptualizing for client facing presentation documents.
   ●      Experience with brand experience, and developing visual identities for brands.
   ●      Key art concepting and development.
   ●      Must be nimble and excited for a role where no day will be the same.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

   ●      Possess and demonstrate a vibrant connection to and fluency in music-related elements and pop culture.
   ●      Possess and deliver strong written and verbal communication skills, demonstrating the ability to present thoughts clearly, accurately, and succinctly.
   ●      Possess and encourage high degrees of initiative, drive, energy, accountability, creativity and maturity.
   ●      Possess excellent time management, organization and prioritization skills.
   ●      Experience designing for owned, earned, and paid channel assets, with a strong focus in digital design.
   ●      Exercise the ability to quickly and effectively adapt to changing needs and expectations.
   ●      Exemplary typography chops.
   ●      Digitally savvy; MUST be proficient in the Adobe Suite as well as Google Slides and Microsoft Office suite (Mac preferred).

Minimum Qualifications

  •   3-5 years of experience in Design

  •   Experience doing marketing design for brand, performance, and lifecycle marketing.

  •   Working knowledge of a wide range of channels - including digital, paid, web, and print.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  •   Comfortable with all things digital product, UI/UX, wireframes, etc

  •   Experience with Figma, Adobe Creative Suite and expert at adapting to a variety of software.

  •   Illustration skills are a plus.

  •   Animation skills are a plus.
