Associate Manager, Artwork Copy Production - Fresh (NYC, NY)

Reporting to the Manager of Gifting, the Associate Manager of Artwork Copy Production, will lead and optimize the entire artwork copy packaging development workflow for Global Marketing (Product & Gifting) to deliver best-in-class packaging artwork. They are responsible for leading the project management of each new SKU product packaging artwork development while strengthening global cross-functional relationships.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage the artwork approval process including (but not limited to) language codes, ILNs (Ingredient List Numbers), logos, copy and translations, warnings, footnotes, sustainability callouts, and other technical specifications

  • Create packaging copy sheets for all sets and relevant products and track project schedules to foster on-time, efficient, cost-effective execution

  • Manage partnership and act as key brand contact for Transperfect, our translation agency

  • Foster a collaborative, cross-functional environment to ensure seamless artwork execution between Packaging Design, Packaging Development, Global Marketing, Storytelling, Regulatory, Legal and Digital

  • Manage a copy database library that seamlessly archives variants and older versions of product and giftset copy including (but not limited to) language codes, ILNs, logos, copy and translations, warnings, footnotes, sustainability callouts, and other technical specifications; continually track and update all cross-functional partners as needed

  • Schedule and facilitate project meetings and trainings with internal stakeholders at the start of each program and as needed

  • Partner closely with the digital team to ensure all copy is consistent across online platforms

  • Adhere to department objectives & defined KPIs

Profile

  • Education - Bachelor’s degree preferred

  • Experience – At least 3-4 years of project management and technical experience in packaging artwork and creative operations

  • Knowledge of beauty/art industry, competitive marketplace, packaging design and production; design experience a plus

  • Experience using Microsoft Office, Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, and artwork routing platforms

  • Superior attention to detail, highly organized, pro-active, and deadline driven

  • Project Management - Exhibit a keen ability to be proactive as well as handle a multitude of projects at one time managing timelines and deliverables.

  • Experience in global development, operational marketing, beauty industry, knowledge of packaging design and development, campaign development and China experience are a plus.

  • Agile - Thrives in fast-paced and ever-changing environment, flexible, ability to wear many hats at once.
