Position Overview
Pre-Development Project Manager (Miami, FL)
We’re looking for a candidate with a strong architectural background (5 to 8 years in an architecture office) to join our dynamic team. You’ll leverage your technical expertise in drawing coordination to influence the design, spot potential issues early and guide projects smoothly from concept to completion. You must be curious to get hands on the legal, financial, and construction facets of real estate development—and eager to set your own agenda under the mentorship of established industry leaders. We really enjoy the time we spend in the office; the position is in person at our office in the Grove.
Salary Range:
90-120k total yearly compensation
What You Will Be Responsible For
Coordinating Project Drawings: Ensure design documents are complete, on time, accurate, and aligned with project goals.
Identifying Coordination Issues: Proactively review documents for clashes or inconsistencies, addressing them promptly.
Collaborating Across Disciplines: Work closely with legal, financial, and construction teams to keep projects on track.
Managing Consultants: Oversee consultant communication, set deadlines, and maintain accountability for deliverables.
Supporting Project Priorities: Keep tasks organized, drive timelines, and escalate issues when needed.
Skills & Qualifications
5 to 8 years of experience in an architecture office, with a focus on drawing coordination.
Strong technical acumen in design documents and construction details.
Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to pivot between tasks and support various functional areas.
Proven ability to collaborate with and manage multiple stakeholders, including architects, engineers, and legal counsel.
Keen attention to detail and a genuine interest in legal, financial, and construction processes.
Refined visual, verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in Excel, Photoshop, InDesign, AutoCAD and Bluebeam
Compensation & Benefits
Total Compensation: $90,000 – $120,000 (commensurate with experience and qualifications).
