Designer/Sales Representative - Workplace Resource (Worcester, MA)
We are seeking a Designer/Salesperson to join our Team with a Strong Work Ethic who can work independently covering Western Massachusetts. This individual should have at least 5- 10 years in Contract Interior Design preferably with a Dealer background. Having Sales experience is a plus!

Job Description:
Workplace Resource is currently seeking to add a Designer/Salesperson to our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for driving sales and a flair for high-level client service. He or she is energetic, motivated, a creative problem-solver who thrives on multi-tasking and is a wizard of time management.
This dynamic individual will be confident, persistent, and competitive while operating smoothly within our team-oriented company culture. With a keen eye and ear for detail, insight and sensitivity, and a professional communication style, the Sales Representative will be a key ambassador of our services and product lines to existing and potential clients.
The Designer/Salesperson is responsible for establishing, developing, and maintaining business relationships with clients to drive sales.
The Designer/Salesperson is expected to:
Initiate and uncover new sales opportunities, through networking and cold calling clients design and architectural firms and commercial brokers
Develop a network with like peers outside and within the industry with the intent of identifying and sharing lead information
Collaborate with in-house and partner designers and architects to achieve client goals
Maintain knowledge of our featured products and services as well as the contract furniture industry including design concepts, trends, and applications
Participate in personal and professional development through continuing education and appropriate business and professional organizations
Develop, maintain, and nurture a professional network within the community
Required Education and Skills
Bachelor degree
Understanding of profitability
Proficiency in MS office software programs including Outlook
Must be comfortable cold calling and sourcing leads
Drive to uncover new opportunities
Ability to deal with highly complex issues
Compensation based on experience Commission against Draw
Salary Range:
Salary is a minimum base of $55,000 + commission (Base salary dependent on sales experience) with no cap on commission earnings
Compensation is based on experience in Sales with Interior Design being a secondary consideration.
