UI/UX Designer - Acelab (Remote)

Acelab, a leading innovator in architecture and construction technology, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented UX/UI Designer to join our dynamic product team. The ideal candidate will work closely with the Director of Product, Engineering, and cross-functional teams to help develop and manage products that meet our customers' needs and drive business success.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with engineering and product managers to create user-centered designs for digital products

  • Ensure consistent design across platforms and devices

  • Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups

  • Assist with UI documentation, UX writing, and acceptance criteria development

  • Conduct UX research and usability testing

  • Participate in product development sprints and monitor progress to ensure timely delivery

  • Assist with product launch tasks, including but not limited to the development of marketing materials, social media graphics, and website updates

  • Facilitate communication between team members to ensure alignment on product goals and timelines


Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience in UX/UI design, 3-5 years of experience preferred

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Construction, or related fields is not required but is a plus

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

  • Proficiency in design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD)

  • Understanding of user-centered design principles

  • Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and responsive design

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

  • Portfolio demonstrating UX/UI projects
