UI/UX Designer - Acelab (Remote)
Acelab, a leading innovator in architecture and construction technology, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented UX/UI Designer to join our dynamic product team. The ideal candidate will work closely with the Director of Product, Engineering, and cross-functional teams to help develop and manage products that meet our customers' needs and drive business success.
Responsibilities:
Work closely with engineering and product managers to create user-centered designs for digital products
Ensure consistent design across platforms and devices
Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups
Assist with UI documentation, UX writing, and acceptance criteria development
Conduct UX research and usability testing
Participate in product development sprints and monitor progress to ensure timely delivery
Assist with product launch tasks, including but not limited to the development of marketing materials, social media graphics, and website updates
Facilitate communication between team members to ensure alignment on product goals and timelines
Requirements
1-3 years of experience in UX/UI design, 3-5 years of experience preferred
Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Construction, or related fields is not required but is a plus
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
Proficiency in design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD)
Understanding of user-centered design principles
Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and responsive design
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Portfolio demonstrating UX/UI projects
