About The Job
The Scenics team is searching for a trade show booth designer that likes to think out of the box and travels to install the properties throughout the US . A multi-functional position that can bridge into printing and art framing as needed. Our passionate and jovial family of fabricators and designers support each other to ensure that SAS events are a success.
As an Exhibit Designer Project Manager (Emerging Careers), you will:
Generate presentation quality project representations and documents to obtain client approval and communicate to fabricators and vendors.
Prepare project estimates for installation, labor, time, materials and vendor costs.
Thoroughness in all aspects of design and communication.
Collaborate with other designers and fabricators to provide effective solutions.
Maintain organization in work area with regard to samples, presentation devices and project related materials.
Collaborates with other Project Designers in an ongoing effort to improve Design processes, techniques and standards and incorporates them into operations.
Required Qualifications
2 years of experience.
Bachelor’s degree in Liberal Arts or other related field.
Equivalent combination of related education, training and experience may be considered in place of the above qualifications.
Experience and skill with all shop equipment, including CNC router.
Competent with AutoCad, SolidWorks, Enroute or related software.
Ability to travel up to 25% of the time

Preferred Qualifications
Experienced forklift operator.
Experience with cabinetry fabrication and applied finishes.
An “on site” leader for large shows.
Ability to create graphic templates and collaborate with print designers.
Research experience in cutting-edge tradeshow technologies.
Excellent client and team interaction skills.
