The Opportunity:
Donut Media is looking to hire a Associate Creative Director to join Donut's Branded Content team. In this role, you'll have the chance to develop compelling branded content across Donut's various channels, spanning from one-off ads to year-long campaigns. Your consistent creativity and awareness of trends will be key in ensuring that Donut remains fresh and innovative throughout the entire creative process.
This person will be the company's go-to person for all creative matters on their slate of videos. This full-time role is in-person based in Donut's Inglewood, California headquarters and reports into the Sr. Director, Branded. Some travel is required.
The Responsibilities:
Contribute to the creative development of new branded business opportunities.
Assist the Sr. Director in developing concepts, strategies, and client presentations.
Coordinate resource allocation with Branded Producer to meet project needs.
Lead campaign creative and development from ideation to final video edit, ensuring alignment with both brand objectives and Donut's audience.
Maintain brand identity and message consistency across channels.
Evaluate creative performance and recommend improvements upon request
Collaborate with multiple internal teams to strategically plan and achieve goals
Lead and participate in brainstorming sessions.
Meet objectives, values, budgets, and deadlines.
Write engaging, targeted content for digital, social, commercials.
Exhibit strong strategic thinking aligned with Donut's perspective.
Strive to deliver exceptional creative to help strengthen brand partnerships.
Proofread and edit copy to ensure high-quality, error-free content.
Keep up with the latest ad trends, social strategies, and new technologies.
Offer ideas for freelance creatives, writers, directors that we could hire when needed
Qualifications & Skills
Must love cars and have extensive knowledge of cars, car maintenance, and automotive culture
e6+ years of experience working in a creative directing, development, copywriting, or branded production role in Digital/YouTubeAbility to work in a demanding, high pressure and time sensitive environment
Ability to interact and communicate effectively with creatives, talent, directors, and production
Experience with project management software such as Trello, Monday, Asana, or AirTable
Strong capability to multitask and prioritize multiple demands
