Innovation Designer - PepsiCo (NYC, NY)
Overview
Reports to the Senior Manager Global Design Innovation (Foods), works in collaboration with Sr designers and managers, to identify, design, develop and deliver innovation that drives growth for PepsiCo through food experiences, that also deliver our PEP+ agenda.

Have potential to elevate and pollinate Design and System thinking throughout PepsiCo through practical design methodologies, visualizing and prototyping desired futures and experiences to unlock challenges and uncover transformative opportunities
Responsibilities
In collaboration with the Innovation Design Senior Manager and Senior Director:
Create compelling food and packaging experiences with brand designers that are either viable at mass scale or create iconic brand activation experiences
Creates presentation that effectively communicate design concepts to stakeholders and internal audiences
Shares knowledge, experience and skill with other design staff; works with design counterparts to ensure continuity across initiatives, categories, and projects
Demonstrates expert- knowledge and influences final design decisions
Foster positive ways of working and implement collaborative design solutions
Use design thinking for educating while collaborating
Draw on diverse perspectives to solve design problems and drive effective solutions
Articulate design vision through prototyping, scenario modeling, strategic roadmaps, etc
Proven ability to effectively incorporate research (including primary and secondary research) in strategic design processes
Compenation and Benefits:
The expected compensation range for this position is between $72,900 - $122,100 based on a full-time schedule
Location, confirmed job-related skills and experience will be considered in setting actual starting salary
Bonus based on performance and eligibility; target payout is 5% of annual salary paid out annually
Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement

Qualifications
Fluent in design thinking methodologies and conversant on emerging trends
Integrative thinker, aptitude for experimentation
Empathetic, collaborative and entrepreneurial
Minimum of 2 years (recent) in a design role
Degree in design, or a related discipline
Compelling presentation and visualization skills
Proven ability to multi-task, work in ambiguous and dynamic work environment; is comfortable with risk and uncertainty
Demonstrates high level expertise using:
2D digital sketch tools,
3D CAD Modeling and Rendering (Solidworks and Keyshot preferred),
Adobe Creative Suite,
Generative AI
Colaborative Digital platforms (Miro preferred)
Strong oral and written communication skills, including meeting facilitation and presentation
Ability to clearly articulate objectives and effectively elevate strategic design thinking
Agility to work cooperatively and collaboratively, share ideas and develop effective concepts
Proven in working in a rapid paced, high-output environment
Ability to manage multiple and competing work priorities, demands and changes
