Solutions Architect, Omniverse - NVIDIA (Remote)

What You Will Be Doing

  • Enable our service delivery partners ecosystem to build services for manufacturing workflows using Omniverse and Generative AI. You will collaborate and work closely with Solutions Architects, engineers, and product teams to translate requirements for an end-to-end workflow.

  • Support partners and customers in developing tools that allow common-place 3D CAD, simulation engines and asset database to be easily integrated and connected with Omniverse.

  • Provide technical guidance for partners to build USD data aggregation pipelines for automotive, manufacturing, retail, and other industries working with customers and partners to assess development processes, find opportunities for improvement, and share feedback with internal product development team.

  • Work with partners and customers to understand their technical needs and find enablement opportunities to expand adoption and utilization of Omniverse. This includes assessing 3D workloads, such as large-scale data aggregation and optimization and streaming, multi-user collaboration, product design and synthetic data generation and simulation.

  • You will detail and communicate standard processes, build repeatable reference architecture, and understand solution trade-offs.

What We Need To See

  • BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science, Physics, or other Engineering fields or equivalent experience.

  • 5+ years of Solution Engineering experience.

  • Strong proficiency in either Python or C++, with experience in both languages.

  • Proven track record of developing enterprise software systems or engine features within 3D real-time interactive DCC tools (Unity, Unreal Engine, Maya) or CAD and BIM softwares (Revit, NX, Microstation etc.) or simulation and modeling applications (Discrete event simulation: Process Simulate, Plant Simulate, Visual Components, Isaac Sim, etc.).

  • DevOps and experience in developing software in hybrid cloud environments (Cloud, hybrid and on-prem).

  • The successful candidate is passionate about working with data manipulation and translation skills around 3D geometry, animation and materials into code.

Ways To Stand Out From The Crowd

  • Experience writing plug-ins for DCC tools and scripting knowledge in the 3D interactive domain, including understanding of Universal Scene Description, MDL (Material Definition Language), and physics.

  • Knowledge of NVIDIA Omniverse and AI platforms including Kit SDK, Isaac Sim, NeMo framework.

  • Domain expertise in either automotive, manufacturing engineering, robotics, or mechanical engineering industry workflows, including product data management (PDM) solutions.

  • Experience in customer facing role as well as ability to scope projects and estimate required effort to build end-to-end applications.

The base salary range is 144,000 USD - 270,250 USD. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.
