Role: Studio Manager/Operations Lead
Location: Remote Position (East coast preferred)
Position: Full-Time, 9am-5pm Monday - Thursday (4 day work week)
Salary: $75-85K, depending on experience

These solutions take the form of branding, spatial, environmental, interactive, or print projects. Position Description:
WSDIA is seeking a Studio Manager/Operations Lead who is an organized and proactive leader working in the design or architecture industry. This full time position requires a detail-oriented and process-driven professional with strong communication skills. As the point-person responsible for managing client communications, studio workflows, project timelines/budgets, scheduling and resourcing, the Studio Manager is an essential member of the team and expected to support the studio’s team of designers.
We’re looking for someone who will:
• Improve processes, bring project management best practices to WSDIA
• Have operational experience at a design or architecture firm: involved not only in managing projects, but also high-level to efficiencies improvement, refine processes, and develop a resource management strategy
• Have experience writing/developing proposals, writing/reviewing contracts
• Responsibilities: 30% Project Management, 30% Client/Relationship Management,
20% Operations & Staff Management, 20% Business Development Support

• Someone to lead, support, and grow with our team in all areas of operations, studio and client management, to allow designers to focus on creative
Skills & Experience:
4-6 years experience
Coordination and construction administration experience to oversee a team working on spatial, signage and print projects.
Proficient in MS Office, Google Docs/Sheets, Asana, Notion, Slack and Zoom
Intermediate-level in Adobe Apps specifically Adobe XD, InDesign
Project Budget Management
Responsibilities:
PROJECT MANAGEMENT (30%)
Direct project management of all engagements
Schedule / timeline management
Meeting management (schedule, agenda, capturing actions)
Budget/profitability management
Resource management
CLIENT/RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT (30%)
Client communications
Schedules and timelines management
Meeting management (schedule, agenda, note-taking)
Status updates (& managing scope creep/change orders)
Building client relationships, while confident pushing back
OPERATIONS & STAFF MANAGEMENT (20%)
Ownership around researching, identifying, developing, implementing, and maintaining
the best, simplest, and most appropriate processes, systems, and tools (e.g., project
management, invoicing)
Train and manage the team (including new hires) on these processes, systems,
and tools
BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT SUPPORT (20%)
Proposal development & pricing/scoping support
Working with bookkeeper on invoicing & collections
Manage all marketing efforts (e.g., social media, email blasts, site updates)
Keep owner accountable to business development
