Technical Project Manager - Ori (Boston, MA)

Ori Inc is seeking a project manager with a passion for urban environments and technological innovation. An attractive candidate will be able to demonstrate experience working in the development, design, construction or operation of residential housing, ideally in the multifamily sector. This is a role that requires working with multiple stakeholders and across functional areas to ensure project execution excellence and operational efficiency. A project manager must organize and synthesize multiple data and work streams from multiple sources including client, designer, contractor, owner, leasing agent and internal teams. This role requires an understanding of the construction and housing industry, particularly the lifecycles and players involved, and a passion to become an expert in the field.

Success in this role will result in the efficient and timely implementation of Ori products in multifamily and single-family residences throughout the nation. Key duties include client and contractor coordination, scheduling, training, database management and nurturing relationships. A vital aspect of this role is collecting and managing the efficient distribution of information and project-related data, and implementing improved operational processes to support growth. Obsessive attention to detail and process is a must. This role also requires that observations and insights are packaged into well composed material for distribution to internal and external teams. A successful candidate should be able to demonstrate an innate gift for organization, time management, and communication skills.

Salary:

$87,000 - $110,000

More detail on the role:

  • First and foremost, serve as the primary point of contact for Ori and its stakeholders to ensure all parties are aligned on expectations and priorities, and projects are successfully completed on time and within budget

  • Collaborate on cross-functional projects and initiatives

  • Gather, input, manage and track all system, project and stakeholder contact related data in Salesforce and Asana

  • Manage (and juggle) contractors, consultants and internal stakeholders across multiple projects

  • Seek to continually improve processes

  • Regularly create and present reports to management

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience managing design, development or construction projects in the real estate industry

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent degree with related industry experience

  • Skilled Salesforce user, with the ability to turn data insights into process improvement

  • Proficient in presentation and design software including Google Slides, Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Sketch, Miro or similar software

  • Familiarity with productivity platforms such as Asana is a plus

  • Fluency in Google Suite and Microsoft Office

  • A digital native; software programming experience is a plus

  • Proven ability to succeed in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment while managing to tight deadlines

  • Independent, accountable, hardworking, and passionate about providing an incredible customer experience, with exceptional “soft” skills (e.g., an attitude that wins over customers and colleagues in tough situations while being mindful of and preserving business goals)
