Come join IGN as a Designer to work within our creative solutions team on a month to month contract. The ideal candidate is able to design digital ads for banner media and/or create client-sponsored motion graphics to a high standard. The role will work alongside a design manager, various project managers, and requests from internal sales teams.

 

The ideal candidate will need to be organized, thorough, extremely detailed, and prompt with responses and updates. The role will be responsible for delivering on designs for multiple campaigns simultaneously and therefore excellent time management, organization, and an obsessive attention to detail is critical.

 

Key Responsibilities

●        Executing digital and graphic designs based on established style guides & templates

●        Designing and creating compelling digital mockups and live elements for production

●        Generating creative ideas and concepts to fulfill the advertising and marketing needs of our clients

●        Participating in meetings and presentations to the team

●        Leading in the creation of motion graphics, site images, banner ads, sales presentation elements, and custom logos

Job Qualifications

        2-3+ years experience working in digital media and/or on-set production support

        Strong design ability and fluency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Premiere and After Effects, as well as Photoshop and Illustrator

        Experience creating motion graphics for video elements i.e. title graphics, transitions, lower thirds, etc.

        Experience with Celtra or similar ad building tool

        Intimate knowledge of online and mobile advertising with proven ability to create compelling, sophisticated ad products

        Strong project management skills and deadline oriented

        Strong ability to handle multiple projects from concept through to completion

        Excellent conceptual thinking and problem solving skills

        Excellent interpersonal abilities to effectively communicate with all internal and external teams

        Self-motivated, proactive and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines independently

        Superior eye for detail, placement, and other design principles

        A desire to expand digital design knowledge and learn within a fast-paced environment
