Position Overview:

Responsible for providing quality design work to clients in a timely manner, and within budget, to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction. This is a client facing design position that will have the opportunity to cross-train in project management and be expected to work toward a successful team experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage adherence to project schedule, internal budget, customer’s project budget, design task completions, and quality of design work.

  • Ensure complete and accurate transmittal of project planning data to order entry along with project management assist.

  • Understand Local building codes, ADA regulations, National Electrical Code, etc.

  • Understand architectural product, including order preparation, project management, order management, and delivery/installation.

  • Manage changes and revisions with costs in mind.

  • Strong personal leadership abilities including meeting management, facilitation, negotiation, conflict resolution, collaboration and prioritization

  • Execute drawings and pricing utilizing DIRTT software ICE

  • Experience with Architectural Construction detailing and coordinating MEP consultants.

  • Other duties as assigned


Knowledge/Skills/Abilities-Required/Preferred

  • BS, BA or BFA degree in interior design, architecture Required

  • Proficiency in Revit, CAD, MS Project, and Procore Required

  • Additional experience in design-build process and offsite construction methods Required

  • Advanced communication abilities, both verbal and written Required

  • Understand construction documents Required

  • Demonstrate strong communication skills Required

  • Attention to detail, and strong organizational skills Required

  • Proven sales ability with knowledge of business practices Preferred

  • Experience in Prefab Software ICE- DIRTT Environmental Solutions Preferred
